The expert visited the country in mid-December and tasted more than 700 Chilean wines. The 94 points received by Don Melchor constitute the highest score achieved by wine in said medium. Coming from the famous Puente Alto terroir, Don Melchor has consistently received the highest awards throughout its history, placing it as the most awarded Cabernet Sauvignon in Chile and one of the highest representatives of the variety worldwide.
