Recognized with excellent 97 points, Suckling stands out from the most recent Don Melchor vintage: “deep and serious, with aromas of black olives, blackberries, blueberries, tobacco leaves, sweet red pepper, ash, dried meat and a touch of dark chocolate. . This is a more direct Don Melchor, full-bodied, with intense blackberry notes and wrapped in compact, fine-grained tannins. Long and deep. Better after 2024.”
